Sydney Conley, in her finest hour for University of Kansas Track & Field.

SYDNEY Alexandra CONLEY- TRACK & FIELD ATHLETE

Sydney Conley is one of the most decorated female Track & Field athletes in Arkansas history. As a professional, she has been a participant in the U.S. Nationals, U.S. World Championship Trials, and the Olympic Trials. In 2020, she was ranked in the Top 30 of sprinters in the country.

She attended the University of Kansas where she was the #1 ranked female long jumper in the Big 12 NCAA athletic conference, a four-time All-American, as she led the team to a national championship.

In high School, running for Fayetteville High School, she was the No. 1 ranked long jumper in the nation after winning the 2012 indoor national championship, and led her team to three state championships. She set multiple records in both indoor and outdoor track including sprints, long jump and triple jump. In addition to Track & Field competition, Conley was also a member of a state championship team in basketball.

She is a member of the Arkansas High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

SADIE KNUTSON

SOFTBALL ATHLETE

Sadie has been playing softball at a competitive level since childhood. At Rochester High School, she finished her senior year in Spring of 2022 with a 4-1 record as a pitcher, with a 2.88 ERA, 36 strikeouts and 10 earned runs in 24.1 innings. At the plate she held a .333 batting average with 10 runs, 14 hits, nine RBIs and one home run.

Sadie currently plays softball for the club team Northwest Speed, building her strength and technique before beginning her college career at Eastern Oregon University starting in the Autumn 2023.

Naomi Dickerson

SOFTBALL ATHLETE

Naomi Dickerson was a star of the Georgia Tech softball program from 2018-2022.

She finished her NCAA college career with Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets with a 4.07 ERA for a 7-7 record in 46 appearances, including 16 starts, three compete games, a shutout and a save. She accumulated 35 strikeouts in 106.2 innings. She capped off her senior year with a flawless inning against Clemson, after a junior year shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Before the pandemic hit, Naomi made 18 appearances in the circle with four starts as a sophomore. She finished the season with two wins. As a Freshman she started 12 games and racked up a career-high four strikeouts in 4.2 innings against Detroit Mercy, while pitching a shutout against Santa Clara in a 11-0 victory, allowing just three hits in five innings.

Before Georgia Tech, Naomi was one of the top-ranked high school softball players in the state of California. As a four-year letterwinner at La Serna High School, she led her team to the San Gabriel Valley League Championship in both 2014 and 2015, the 2012 PGF Championship, and the 2014 ASA National Championship.

She is the granddaughter of Sandy Scruggs-Dickerson, and great-granddaughter of Thornton Zann Scruggs, and 3x-great granddaughter of Sallie Ann Conley Thornton, who began the Conley Family legacy in nursing as part of the first Army Corp Nurses serving under the command of John J. Pershing in the Spanish-American War.

She is training to be a professional nurse. Upon the earning her credentials, she will be part of the 6th Generation Conley nurse.

 

AYANNA RODGERS

VOLLEYBALL ATHLETE

Tyler Tenner became the Wisconsin state high school rushing record-holder in 2019.

Tenner, a senior running back for Racine Lutheran, broke the record for career rushing yards in Wisconsin high school football by rushing for 6,903 yards, including 2,286 in one season.

He now plays running back for Roosevelt University where he earned both NAIA National and MSFA Midwest League Offensive Player.

In Autumn of 2022, Tyler tied a MSFA record with five rushing touchdowns which set a new RU program record and reached a college career-high 220 yards in a single game.

Tenner currently leads the NAIA with 12 rushing touchdowns and is second in scoring with 72 points, while also ranking fourth in the NAIA in rushing yards per game (126 yards) and fifth in total rushing yards (756) in the 2022 season.
